Twitter Posts of the Week!

Hi everyone, Chelsea here!

I hope you all enjoyed our newest podcast that was posted earlier this week. We will be recording The Homecoming Job podcast today.

A few awesome updates thanks to the Leverage people on Twitter: Dean Devlin linked to TVByTheNumbers that showed Leverage did exceptionally well in its second season. Read here for details on how the DVR numbers and live viewings were right up there. So excited for them!

There was a big oops from Christian Kane on Thursday - he missed his plane after a late night concert with Big Kenny and Uncle Kracker. Whoops! He apologized, and admitted TNT was mad at him. Tsk tsk, Christian!

Tim is a dream come true for us fans, because he put up several videos and a picture from the set today. You have permission to swoon! The picture is above, and links to the video are here and here. Thanks so much, Tim. We love you!

Check back in next week for more reasons the Leverage people make us happy to be fans!

Season Two DVD Release!

Hello everyone, Chelsea here!

Get excited, because it was just announced when the season two DVD's will be out. The wonderful Amy Berg decided to let us know on her twitter today that Leverage Season Two will be out May 25th. That's a good amount of time before season three premieres, so you'll be able to grab your DVD's and hunker down with them until then.

She promises drunken, snarky commentary. Yes please!

Award Nominations!

Big announcement today, folks. It turns out that Gina Bellman and Aldis Hodge have been nominated for supporting acting roles for the Saturn Awards, and Leverage is nominated for Best Syndicated/Cable Television Series. For the list and who they're up against, look here, but we're really happy for them!

Also, Amy Berg and Timothy Hutton were nominated for Prism Awards. Prism Awards are for media that properly represent issues related to substance abuse (drug and alcohol) and mental illness. Leverage was nominated for the 12-Step Job and Amy Berg in particular since it was her episode, and then Tim was nominated for Best Performance. This is a great news day for Leverage all around, people! Here's a look at the list of noms.

Twitter Posts of the Week!

Hi everyone, Chelsea here. I'm starting a new fun trend for this blog where every week I'll pick out things that the cast and crew of Leverage post about and collect their links and thoughts together. They're fairly good at giving us videos, music, and pictures that they like, so this should be fun. I'm trying to think of a better name than "Things We Learned About Leverage This Week." Ideas?

First up is from Christian Kane, and he decided to give us something special to prepare for the season two finale on Wednesday. He posted a Top 5 response where he basically lets the fans ask him top five lists, and he responds. This one includes his favorite drinks, fairy tales, and accents. Adorable.

Next is Tim Hutton, who decided it would be fun after the finale to post a few songs he thought were relevant to the characters. He put up one for Nate:

and for Sophie:

It seems he's as much a shipper as any of us!

Dean Devlin put up a few interviews for us about the finale, including one with Paul Blackthorne who guest starred, and one with himself. He was also kind enough to give us a sneak peek as they are scouting for places to use for season three right now. Enjoy the Twitpic!

All you lucky people in Oregon better be going to the ConCon so you can tell us how it was, too. I'm so jealous!

Stay tuned for more Twit information from our favorite cast on TV.

Episode < 1:

Episode Less Than 1:

Much like Nate's drinking, we're back! But we like to think we're a lot more fun. And we're better for your liver too.

We bring forth a new co-host! Chelsea joins the team, and catches up by giving everyone her favorites and a Leverage crew of her own design. We talk about season two thus far, the upcoming finale, and speculate a little about what we'd like to see come season three.

We got a little over-excited and managed to talk over each other quite a bit. Apolgies! We're going to work on that for next time. Enjoy the show, and don't forget to tune in for the season two finale, The Maltese Falcon Job, February 17th.

Stay subscribed. We'll return next week with a brand new episode.
