Ep 16 - The Order 23 Job

Episode 16 - The Order 23 Job

It's been awhile since our last episode. Thousands of apologies and all that. Jachelle is a complete slacker (who enjoys talking about herself in the third person) who managed to sit on the episode for almost a month before finally getting it up into the feed. She'd like to say there's a good reason for the delay, but there's really not. Sorry, guys. In the Order 23 Job, the Leverage team takes over the floor of a hospital in order to convince a convicted felon that there has been an outbreak of a deadly virus so he'll reveal the whereabouts of his secret stolen cash.

Mini-hiatus!

Hey there, everyone! Jachelle here.

We’re taking a hint from the Leverage team and taking a little break. But I promise we’ll be back much sooner than our beloved show. A magical time has descended upon us. Some refer to it as “final exams,” but I prefer to call it “Jachelle waits until the last possible second to finish all of her final projects and study for her exams and has to cram everything in all at once.” I think it’s got more of a ring to it, don’t you?

That being said, I’ve got a higher workload than usual for the next two weeks, and once that’s out of the way, I’m hitting the beach for a much needed vacation. So we’ll be back in three weeks. With a little bit of luck, you should expect to see “The Miracle Job” in your feeds around the week of the 17th.

“The Mile High Job” is in the final stages of editing, and should be out by the end of the week. We had a lot of fun with this one, so hopefully it’ll sustain you until we get back. Thanks again to all of you for listening, and for being patient with us. We love you!

Ep 4 - The Snow Job

After another bit of a hiatus, we're slowly getting things back on track with Episode 4, The Snow Job. Nate and the team take on a family of sleazy Miami businessmen who are preying on disaster victims, and Jachelle, Sam, and Chelsea take on topics like Nate's continued drinking, excellent guest stars, and Sophie's luge.

Next week is the Mile High Job, so stay subscribed and thanks for your patience!

Leverage Twitters!

Hi everyone, Chelsea here.

First just an update: We finished recording and editing the Snow Job and it should be up soon. We're recording the Mile High Job tomorrow, so we're getting back on track everyone!

Tim Hutton is the absolute best for constantly bringing us new adorable twit videos from the set, and we got one from Aldis as well. Here are links to each of the videos. Also, Dean says they have shot a third of the third season, and John Rogers got to direct his first episode!

John Rogers on directing.

Frakes giggling about the train noises.

Beth loves trains!

Gina admits her five month old loves Christian Kane.

Gina got whiplash! Not really.

Parker's Toys on set.

And then from Aldis from his stick class.

They're the best cast and crew ever, aren't they? Admit it!

This week on Twitter

I still haven't thought of a name for this.

Anyway Chelsea here! I'm back from my vacation and of course this was the time that the Leverage twitters exploded and everyone put up fantastic pictures and videos. Agggggh! Concon also happened to there was a great deal of information given, and we were all just dying of jealousy over here not to be there.

Tim put up a few adorable videos with music he added.

1. One from St. Patrick's Day with him, Beth, and Christian.

2. One of Beth dancing on the set.

3. One of Jonathan Frakes and Gina Bellman being cute on the set.

4. A video of Christian doing an action scene and then making a hilarious face.

Tim put up a few pictures of ConCon and so did Dean. You can see them at the top. Man, we absolutely have to go to ConCon next year. There's no way around it! Maybe we'll even record a podcast while there? Eh? You know it!

Ep 3 - The Wedding Job

Episode 3 - The Wedding Job

Slight delay in releasing the episode this week. You can blame Jachelle's pathetic excuse for a computer. Seriously. This thing is so bad it would bring Hardison to tears. If computers were people, this thing would be the smelly kid in the back of the class who eats dirt and pulls the pigtails of the girl sitting in front of him.

While Jachelle contemplates the pros and cons of computer homicide, please enjoy the latest episode of The Long Con! It's episode three, and sticking with the episode order of the DVDs, we're covering The Wedding Job this week. Tune in while we discuss Nate and Sophie's relationship, how the team is getting along, awesome guest stars, and all that other stuff.

Little Break!

Hi everyone, Chelsea here!

Just giving you a small update. I have horrified my podcast mates by admitting that I will be gone from the country for a week to the tropical world of Aruba. Ooooo! It's a family vacation so I have no say, and I'll feel horrible about lying on a beach with a fruity drink. Anyway, because of that we decided to take a little break from the podcast just until I get back. I'm working on episode three right now so that'll be put up in the meantime, and we'll get on episode four in two weeks.

Hugs!

Twitter Posts of the Week!

Hi everyone, Chelsea here!

I hope you all enjoyed our newest podcast that was posted earlier this week. We will be recording The Homecoming Job podcast today.

A few awesome updates thanks to the Leverage people on Twitter: Dean Devlin linked to TVByTheNumbers that showed Leverage did exceptionally well in its second season. Read here for details on how the DVR numbers and live viewings were right up there. So excited for them!

There was a big oops from Christian Kane on Thursday - he missed his plane after a late night concert with Big Kenny and Uncle Kracker. Whoops! He apologized, and admitted TNT was mad at him. Tsk tsk, Christian!

Tim is a dream come true for us fans, because he put up several videos and a picture from the set today. You have permission to swoon! The picture is above, and links to the video are here and here. Thanks so much, Tim. We love you!

Check back in next week for more reasons the Leverage people make us happy to be fans!

Season Two DVD Release!

Hello everyone, Chelsea here!

Get excited, because it was just announced when the season two DVD's will be out. The wonderful Amy Berg decided to let us know on her twitter today that Leverage Season Two will be out May 25th. That's a good amount of time before season three premieres, so you'll be able to grab your DVD's and hunker down with them until then.

She promises drunken, snarky commentary. Yes please!

Award Nominations!

Big announcement today, folks. It turns out that Gina Bellman and Aldis Hodge have been nominated for supporting acting roles for the Saturn Awards, and Leverage is nominated for Best Syndicated/Cable Television Series. For the list and who they're up against, look here, but we're really happy for them!

Also, Amy Berg and Timothy Hutton were nominated for Prism Awards. Prism Awards are for media that properly represent issues related to substance abuse (drug and alcohol) and mental illness. Leverage was nominated for the 12-Step Job and Amy Berg in particular since it was her episode, and then Tim was nominated for Best Performance. This is a great news day for Leverage all around, people! Here's a look at the list of noms.

Twitter Posts of the Week!

Hi everyone, Chelsea here. I'm starting a new fun trend for this blog where every week I'll pick out things that the cast and crew of Leverage post about and collect their links and thoughts together. They're fairly good at giving us videos, music, and pictures that they like, so this should be fun. I'm trying to think of a better name than "Things We Learned About Leverage This Week." Ideas?

First up is from Christian Kane, and he decided to give us something special to prepare for the season two finale on Wednesday. He posted a Top 5 response where he basically lets the fans ask him top five lists, and he responds. This one includes his favorite drinks, fairy tales, and accents. Adorable.

Next is Tim Hutton, who decided it would be fun after the finale to post a few songs he thought were relevant to the characters. He put up one for Nate:

and for Sophie:

It seems he's as much a shipper as any of us!

Dean Devlin put up a few interviews for us about the finale, including one with Paul Blackthorne who guest starred, and one with himself. He was also kind enough to give us a sneak peek as they are scouting for places to use for season three right now. Enjoy the Twitpic!

All you lucky people in Oregon better be going to the ConCon so you can tell us how it was, too. I'm so jealous!

Stay tuned for more Twit information from our favorite cast on TV.

Episode < 1:

Episode Less Than 1:

Much like Nate's drinking, we're back! But we like to think we're a lot more fun. And we're better for your liver too.

We bring forth a new co-host! Chelsea joins the team, and catches up by giving everyone her favorites and a Leverage crew of her own design. We talk about season two thus far, the upcoming finale, and speculate a little about what we'd like to see come season three.

We got a little over-excited and managed to talk over each other quite a bit. Apolgies! We're going to work on that for next time. Enjoy the show, and don't forget to tune in for the season two finale, The Maltese Falcon Job, February 17th.

Stay subscribed. We'll return next week with a brand new episode.
